The Digital Euro Association is proud to partner with Point Zero Forum 2026, taking place from 23 to 25 June in Zurich, Switzerland. Jointly created by the Global Finance & Technology Network and the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance, the Forum is a premier gathering for central bankers, regulators, policymakers, and industry leaders shaping the future of finance.

On 24 June 2026, Anne-Sophie Gógl (Vice Chairwoman at the Digital Euro Association) will moderate the panel: What the Future Holds for Europe’s Digital Currencies and Payments Landscape.”

She will be joined by an incredible lineup of panelists:

  • Dr. Alexandra Hachmeister
  • Andrus Alber
  • Dr. Christian Pirkner
  • Janine Hirt
  • Nadia Filali

Europe's monetary architecture is being actively redefined. With CBDCs, local currency-denominated stablecoins, and tokenised deposits entering the mix, this session brings together central banks and industry leaders to assess Europe's emerging digital currency landscape. The discussion will confront key design trade-offs—including privacy, interoperability, and distribution—and explore how Europe can balance innovation, sovereignty, and financial stability without risking infrastructure fragmentation.

For the DEA community, that makes the Point Zero Forum especially relevant. It is a chance to engage with the people setting the agenda on digital money, payments, tokenisation, and financial infrastructure, while gaining direct exposure to the policy and market debates that will shape the years ahead. DEA’s own partnership materials also reflect that Point Zero Forum is GFTN’s flagship forum in Europe and a focused platform for digital assets, digital money, and financial infrastructure.

We are excited to support Point Zero Forum 2026 and look forward to seeing many members of the DEA community in Zurich.
