The Digital Euro Association is pleased to announce the next edition of the Digital Euro Stammtisch, taking place in Berlin on 7 July 2026.
Over the past years, the Stammtisch has developed into a trusted forum for open exchange among policymakers, industry representatives, financial institutions, payment providers, associations, and other stakeholders active in the digital money ecosystem.
Unlike traditional conferences or panel discussions, the Stammtisch focuses on informal and candid conversations. It provides participants with the opportunity to exchange perspectives, discuss current developments, and build meaningful connections across different parts of the ecosystem.
As the landscape of digital money continues to evolve, these exchanges become increasingly valuable. Topics regularly discussed include central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stablecoins, tokenised deposits, payment innovation, financial market infrastructures, regulation, and broader developments in digital finance.
What makes the Digital Euro Stammtisch particularly unique is the diversity of participants. Bringing together experts from different institutions and backgrounds creates an environment where ideas can be challenged, assumptions tested, and new perspectives discovered.
The upcoming gathering comes at a time when discussions around Europe's payment sovereignty, the digital euro, tokenisation, and the future of financial infrastructure are gaining momentum. As policymakers and market participants continue to shape the next generation of digital money, collaboration and dialogue across sectors remain essential.
The Digital Euro Association looks forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new participants to the discussion.
If you are active in the fields of payments, banking, digital assets, financial market infrastructure, or digital money and would be interested in joining future editions of the Stammtisch, we encourage you to get in touch with the DEA team.
We believe that some of the most valuable conversations happen not on stage, but around the table.
